MALDA TRAINING & RETREAT CENTER
- Due to demand from leaders, MALDA is seeking to institutionalize its training by constructing a Training and Retreat Center.
- In addition to taking training to where people are, there is a great need for an affordable facility where MALDA can hold its training for those who may want to come for the training.
- Malda has identified MUA Hills, Machakos County, and has started purchasing a piece of land for this project.
WORK DONE
We thank God for his provision for the following works have been done
- The property of one and a half acres has been purchased, and the ground has been leveled
- Fencing with cement posts, barbed wire, and chain link is complete.
- Washrooms have been constructed to enable MALDA to host a day event or training.
- We have worked on the master plan of the facility, (the Training and Retreat Center)
The groundbreaking of the land took place in June 2023 and construction works have already begun.
Semi-Permanent Structure
Malda has already finished the construction of a semi-permanent structure with a training hall, conference room, and offices, as the construction of the master plan is ongoing. Along with the semi-permanent structure are washrooms that are completed in order to enable and facilitate one-day training.
